In a world of Large Language Models and Machine Learning, is Operational Excellence as we know it irrelevant?

Can the computer now do Lean Six Sigma better than you?
Will management turn to a chatbot for improvement and innovation?
Yes, this is partly another plug for the Operational Excellence and Process Transformation Summit in Hamburg, Germany from 14-16 June 2023, from KEYNOTION - I'm the chair, in my role as an adviser to the Operational Excellence Society. Please note we had to change conference hotels as take-up has been so big, we couldn't fit in the previous hotel! We're still on the beautiful lake Alster :-)
But I'm genuinely curious. Looking at the hashtags above, I expected some of the AI related ones to be the most followed on LinkedIn, and they really aren't. The opportunities for disruption probably won't be where we expect them, but they really really are coming - not least in shaping businesses to focus on things that can be done by LLMs, just like digital advertising shaped businesses to fit the model.
If you actually spend time on the 'shop floor' of manufacturing, multinational businesses, or service industries, you won't be naive that we're just at the brink of another big wave of change.
I'll be putting this challenge to the amazing speakers we have at the summit:
What's one way you see the current wave of AI changing the way we improve and manage businesses?
What's your answer?
